January 2011 Commentary: GEM’s second decade commences in the Environmental Century

In previous commentaries, I’ve referred to the 21st century as the “Environmental Century” when we re-connect with Mother Earth and re-learn a humble, respectful relationship with Her and indigenous wisdom keepers of the world. As GEM’s second decade commences, we are eager to accept new challenges and forge new partnerships, especially with tribal nations of American and indigenous communities overseas.
